Sumo

  • Ready, set, wrestle! The ultimate robot battle game where participants design, build, code and test their own sumo robot.

    Participants then take their design into a workshop tournament versing each other across 3 rounds. Who will be the ‘Workshop Champion’?

Bridge Bullies

  • Two go in, one comes out! Design, build and code a robot to compete in a 1 vs 1 battle across a narrow bridge. Last bot standing wins.

    Take on the the other participants in a workshop tournament to determine the champion and earn bragging rights.

Soccer

  • The ultimate introduction to robotic soccer! Participants build and code their own holonomic soccer robot before learning how to make it chase the ball around using infrared sensors.

    Robots built, tactics set, let the games begin! Participants go toe to toe with each other in the ‘JRA World Cup’.

    Workshop capped at 8 kits.

Rescue

  • Help! An earthquake has caused a chemical spill! Survivors have holed up in a rescue canister but need help ASAP.

    Participants will design, build and code a robot to navigate its way through a maze of obstacles to reach the survivors.

Robo Racers (Drag)

  • Ready, Set Go!

    Design, build, code and race a robot ‘dragster’. Learn how gearing affects the speed before racing against the clock to earn bronze, silver and gold on 3 separate ‘tracks’.

    (N.B. the Robo Racers workshop has been split into 2 due to being too big to fit everything into one 2.5 hour session).

Robo Racers (Rally)

  • Control the turns and burn down the straights!

    Participants will design, build and code their own robot race cars with front wheel steering. They will then take to the JRA tracks to race against the clock, earning bronze, silver and gold for each track.

Table Top Games

  • The world of fun and exciting robotic games are at your finger tips. Choose from build guides including Paper Plane and spinning top launchers, a rotating catapult, a basic ‘Goal’ robot to hit a puck, a Scissors Paper Rock machine or even design your own pinball machine.

    Want to create your own game or design? Go for it. We love to see innovation and are constantly amazed with what kids minds can come up with. Your design might even make our highlight reel to help inspire the next group of participants.

Warehouse Wonder

  • Designed to inspire young minds in the functional world of robots, Workshop Wonders has a variety of different build guides to choose from. From scissor lifts, robotic claws, a mech cargo loader and a robotic forklift, there is something for everyone.

    Do you have your own idea in mind? Go for it! We love watching kids’ imaginations run wild so you won’t be restricted to one of the supplied designs. You never know, your design might just inspire the next round of participants.
